As quoted by Steven Blalock, President of Blalock Building Company, Inc., “while we are grateful for the work, the real story is we have lost one of Alabama’s premier contractors: McCrory Building Company.” McCrory was a multi-million dollar company and the jobs lost in the State and locally are another blow to the construction industry. We have retained some of McCrory’s employees to complete these projects and more, should the economy allow.
